Courses (non-government funded) – Tuition & Fees

The majority of our Continuing Education courses: Courses (nbcc.ca) use our combined online registration and payment solution.  You will be automatically directed to the payment portal when registering for any of these courses.  Payments can be made with Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit and Mastercard Debit.

With PayMyTuition, you can pay your tuition payments from various payment options include: Interac e-transfer, online bill payment, electronic bank transfer (EFT), Bank Transfer (For Canadian banking only), as well as Visa and Mastercard credit and debit card.

Note: A non-refundable convenience fee of 2.50% will apply to all Visa Credit/Debit and MasterCard Credit/Debit transactions ONLY.


Withdrawals & Refund Policy

Non-Government Funded Programs and Courses

PURPOSE

This policy is to promote clarification and consistency in the application of 51勛圖app’s tuition and other student fees and related refunds.

SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS

This policy applies to non-government-funded program tuition and other student fees as well as to non-government funded courses.

This policy does not apply to non-government-funded programs to the extent to which government-funded program tuition and other student fees are applied to non-government-funded programs or courses.

This policy does not apply to non-government-funded programs for which tuition or other student fees are amounts negotiated with the Province of New Brunswick (e.g. apprenticeship) or other public entities, private entities or individuals (e.g. contract training).

2.11.4 Calculation of Refunds:

a) Programs (Non-government-funded)

i. Requests for Refunds are subject to Regulation 84-207 under the Private Occupational Training Act. Where any interpretation of this policy is found deficient against that standard from the perspective of the student, the Act shall be applied.

ii. Requests for Refunds effective on or before the first business day of the first Program quarter shall be calculated as 100% of applicable Program Tuition, Supplementary International Fee, Technology and Learning Resource Fee and Student Activity Fee less 100% of Confirmation Deposit. Right of Offset shall apply.

iii. Requests for Refunds related to subsequent student’s withdrawals or terminations shall be calculated as 25% of applicable Program Tuition, Supplementary International Fee, Technology and Learning Resource Fee and Student Activity Fee for each quarter of the Program for which student instruction has not yet started less 100% of Confirmation Deposit. Right of Offset shall apply.

b) Courses (Non-government-funded)

i. Requests for Refunds related to a student’s withdrawal or termination effective on or before the first date of the course shall be calculated at 100% of applicable Tuition, Supplementary International Fee, Technology and Learning Resource Fee and Student Activity Fee less 100% of Confirmation Deposit. Right of Offset shall apply.

ii. Requests for Refunds related to a student’s withdrawal or termination effective on or before the date/time representing 25% of the duration of the course shall be calculated at 100% of applicable Tuition, Supplementary International Fee, Technology and Learning Resource Fee and Student Activity Fee less 100% of Confirmation Deposit. Right of Offset shall apply.

iii. Requests for Refunds related to a student’s withdrawal or termination effective after the date/time representing 25% of the duration of the course shall be calculated at 0% of applicable Tuition, Supplementary International Fee, Technology and Learning Resource Fee and Student Activity Fee.
