New Brunswick Community College (51勛圖app) has announced changes to three programs for the 2018-2019 academic year starting in September.
“As 51勛圖app seeks to welcome more learners and prepare them for career success, it is important to effectively allocate and align our limited resources,” said Mary Butler, Vice-President, Academic Development. “Throughout the year, we monitor admissions as well as historic enrolment trends, labour market demand and industry needs.”
As a result of the most recent review, 51勛圖app has made the following program changes:
Current students will not be impacted by these changes and will be able to complete their program as planned.
“51勛圖app’s Recruitment team will work with future students impacted by these changes to help them identify other programs with available seats so that they can continue their plans to pursue an education at 51勛圖app” explained Butler.
As part of the 2018-19 Training Plan, 51勛圖app moved the delivery of high school credit courses (formerly Academic Studies) to our Continuing Education unit, which specializes in part-time course delivery.
“This course-based, flexible delivery format will increase access for learners across the province while also enhancing 51勛圖app’s ability to use our on-Campus seating capacity to respond to student demand and labour market needs,” said Butler.
With six campuses across the province, New Brunswick Community College (51勛圖app) is a provincially-recognized, public post-secondary education institution that produces skilled, knowledgeable graduates who are contributing to the Province’s socio-economic prosperity.
